This actually popped up last month, but I only spotted Le Corbusier: The Complete Buildings by Cemal Emden this week.

Glad I did, as it really does sound like a winner. Here’s the background.

In 2010, photographer Cemal Emden decided to document every building designed by Le Corbusier. It took him through three continents, taking in a total of 52 buildings, all the buildings that remain to this day.

Each of these buildings is captured from multiple angles, with images showing both exterior and interior details. If you want background, that’s here too, with texts by leading architects and scholars offering an insight into the featured structures.

From the early Villa Vallet (built in Switzerland in 1905) to the Unite d’Habitation in Marseille (1947), it ticks all the boxes if you are a fan of the great man’s work – or simply love modernist architecture in all its glory.

The 320-page hardback book is out now via Prestel, selling for £39.99.
